This is a little something that I learned on my own time: VS mode is, although the easiest format to battle in, is also your essential. There are three basic practice tutorials I have used to master the LF2 gameplay, and now I felt like sharing them with the rest of ya.[list=1][*]Character Mastering- The best way to learn for a beginner is not by playing against a different character than your own but rather the same. Start with 1:1, for example Davis (you) VS Davis (com/independent).

Davis has the fastest attack speed in the game among all the normal character. Davis also has two significant moves which could help him to get out of close combat problem, which I will explain a little bit later. In general, Davis is the strongest character in close combat.

Dennis have the strongest combo in the game, all of Dennis combo is UNBREAKABLE and it take 50-75% damage using merely 35% mp or so.
Dennis also have a chase ball which help in distracting other people.

Firen strength just like Freeze and John are his special attacks and combos, they are unblockable, after he burns you, you cant do anything, while burning you cant flip back or defend so you can only wait since he does a mistake or he ends his combo.

Rudolf is the faster among normal characters, he is a long/medium ranged character, just like Henry is useless on close combat so you need to be really fast to always be on an advantage position.

Henry is a long range character since his arrows can reach enemies very far away, his dash attack is one of the fastest ones, his flute can’t be blocked and after its done they cant flip back.
