Heavenly Jupiter's VS mode tutorials
By Reaper Angel at 2007-05-23 23:40
This is a little something that I learned on my own time: VS mode is, although the easiest format to battle in, is also your essential. There are three basic practice tutorials I have used to master the LF2 gameplay, and now I felt like sharing them with the rest of ya.[list=1][*]Character Mastering- The best way to learn for a beginner is not by playing against a different character than your own but rather the same. Start with 1:1, for example Davis (you) VS Davis (com/independent).

Team Matches
By Robo at 2007-02-12 01:32

TEAM MATCHES

1. Get a real team- To be a great team, you have to make a great team. For a usual tag-team, use Firen-Freeze. For a better team, use a human partner so you can tell him if you need help or plans for attack.
Practice: STAGE MODE, 2 on 1 TEAM

5 Must Know Tips!
By Robo at 2006-11-10 23:51

1. No Mercy
- Never show mercy to your oppennent. If he is on the ground or frozen, use your hardest hit on him because if you dont, give him four seconds to get back up and he will kill you.
Practice: VS MODE, ALL INDEPENDENT
2.Weapons
- Remember to always use the weapons. Thats why they are there for. If your mp is down use weapons to attack your enemy, it also keeps your PICKING up.
Practice: (ANY MODE CAN DO)
3. Speed
- If you want to become a good little fighter, you have to be fast. If you are against three powerfull fighters on the same team, you need to be quick on the screen and quick with your buttons.

Ten Basic Rules
By Robo at 2006-11-10 23:46

1. If you want to battle someone, the easiest way to communicate with them is via MSN Messenger. Secondary messengers like AIM and YIM are also great. Posting on the forum or private messaging takes too much time to read and reply.

2. Post your IM screenname(s) in your profile.

3. Battle matches are mostly for the most up-to-date official version of LF2. If you want to use a different mod or different characters, your opponent would have to have the same game data as you.

4. When battling officially or casually, end each game, win or loss, with a "gg" or "good game" or similar message to indicate good sportsmanship.
