---1. Strength---
Freeze strength depends a lot on his special attacks and combos just like Firen and John, , he is an equilibrated character, he has not the best speed but he has good speed, he has not the best combos but he has good combos, I mean its equilibrated, once he freezes you, you can just wait to defrost or simply to get knocked down by other attack, Freeze has a quick dash attack and his sword is very useful to increase his attack range.
---2. Advantage position---
Freeze is better on a z-axis position because when he punches his arms are on a position that has a longer range than normal punching characters, however he is not one of the fastest when punching so watch out, his dash attack is one of the fastest and when he has a sword he definitely needs to be used on a left-right position.
---3. Recommended combos---
[3.1]
AAA*+D>A+>>JA**
This is a very easy combo and it does decent damage
*If they block a hit just do the D>A
**If you think they will flip back, quickly after you land from your dash attack do another D>A, and if they flip back they will get frozen

AAA*+D>A+D^j+>>JA
*If they block a hit just do the D>A
[3.3]
AAA*+D>A+D^J+D^J+>>JA
This is one of Freeze strongest combos but you need very low hp
*If they block a hit just do the D>A
[3.4]
AAA*+D>A+>J<A+<JA
This one if you perform it on the right spot its undodgable, however if you think you cant get the right spot if you are closer to the frozen enemy before jumping when you dash attack if he flips back you will hit him, if he doesn’t you wont hit him, and if you jump farther if he doesn’t rows you will hit him, but if he flips back you wont hit him, you can use this to trick him.

(With sword)
A+<<D+D>A+>>A
This will freeze again your enemy, with good timing when throwing the sword you should be able to make this combo undodgable by flipping back when the ice ball hits them, you can combine it with other combos to do more damage, for example:
[3.5]+[3.3]
AAA*+DvJ+A+<<D+D>A+>>A+D^J+D^J+>>JA
This is the strongest Freeze combo I think, it does like 80% of damage out of 100%
*If they block a hit just do the D>A then quickly do DvJ and then continue the combo like this <<D+D>A+>>A+D^J+D^J+>>JA
There are lots of Freeze combos, you can combine almost all his special attacks to do many of them, I didn’t mentioned some ones like AAA+D>A+D^J+D<A+>>JA  because they are dodgable by flipping back, and this ones are recommended combos so I wont tell it is recommended if it can be dodged.
---4. Techniques---

Countering
When somebody will dash attack you or jump attack you, you can counter him with D>J, if you have your sword you can freeze them with your sword before they can even touch you, just be careful with quick dash attacking characters like Deep or Henry because if you are a little late with your sword they my be able to hit you first or if you are against a slow dashing characters for example lets say Davis, or Firen you can counter it with D>A too.

Going through
If you have your sword if you dash attack lets say Rudolf even if he tries to counter your dash attack with D>A your sword will hit all the stars and Rudolf too, so its very useful, if you want you can even win by only dash attacking with your sword, it cant be countered with normal energy balls and if you always dash attack first, there is no character than can win against you, however you cant counter some energy balls like Henry or Louis Wind or Johns Disk.

Advantage from energy balls
If somebody throws you an energy ball lets say for example Davis D>A if you hit one of his balls with a punch or if you counter them with one of your Freeze balls every other ball it touches will turn onto an ice ball of yours, however you cant turn yours balls like Johns disk, Firen balls, Henry arrows, Rudolf stars and Henry and Louis wind.

Surprising
If your enemy is not much but close to you, you can try surprising him with D>J, this works on the z-axis too and if he defends simply do another D>J then you can do a dash attack or a whirlwind, whatever you want.

Trying to end
If your enemy hp is low you can try taking him down then walk onto his same spot and a little before he stands up do a D^J Freeze whirlwind doesn’t has a range as long as Firen but Freeze whirlwind cant be blocked so if they try defending they will be frozen, however it is easier to just walk out of it, but you can be waiting for them on the opposite side the whirlwind is going through, that’s probably the side they will try to run off from it.
---5. Weakness---

Punching loophole
If you approach to Freeze from an up-down position even if he hits you first is very probable that this loophole makes him fail his punch so then you can attack, if you have a good punching character like Woody just keep forcing freeze to encage you on a up-down close combat, its very probable that you win almost all the time.

Ice ball return
I don’t know why but many people tries surprising you with an ice ball, it works many times but once you can predict when he will throw it you can easily return it by hitting it, if you are close enough Freeze wont have time to defend it so he will get frozen, here are what I would do against a frozen character.
Deep-D>AAA from the back since it is undodgable.
John-Throw a Disk to the back and then when it will hit him do a dash attack or D>A at same time so he wont be able to dodge any of them, if you don’t have enough mp you can try putting a shield on a spot that when you hit him from the other side even he rows or not he wont be able to dodge it.
Henry-DJA from the back, if you do it on the right spot that would be hmm like 1 step away from his back the whole 5 arrows will hit him.
Rudolf-The best you can do is do a DvJ then when your clones make him fall dash attack him, and if he flips back to dodge your dash attack the clones will start hitting him, if you don’t have enough mp you can simply dash attack him because a D>A wont hit him, only one from five stars would hit him.
NOTE-Is very improbable that you freeze Freeze with Henry or Rudolf since you can only hit his balls with a run attack, and its very probable you will be running from him lol.
Louis-If you have low hp this is the best moment to transform, just be careful so when you transform your armour and the wind wont hit him and defrost him, if you cant transform yet the best you can do is a run attack, dash attack or D>A but a run attack wont hit him twice so practically is the same.
Firen-You can do DvJ+D>AAA, D^J or if you have Freeze sword you can do this-<+>>D+D>J+D+<+A+A+A……..and then repeat it if you can, this is one of the best combos in the game because its undogable and you wont lose out of mp since you use a very little amount of it but if you don’t have a sword the best is DvJ+D>AAA.
Freeze-lets say you are Rudolf and you are transformed onto Freeze, if you have enough mp the best you can do is a D^J and then a dash attack.
Dennis-throw a chasing ball backwards and then same as John, when it is about to hit him dash attack him so he wont have time to dodge any of your attacks.
Woody-I think the best you can do is a D>J or D^A then try to start a combo from that D^A
Davis-the best would be D^A, since a run attack wont hit him twice so the more damage you can do would be with a D^A
---6. Not recommended---

Whirlwind as a counter
If you try to counter a dash attack with a whirlwind you would probably get hitted by the dash attack before you can release it or if you do it too quick he might be able to stop, so lets better counter with D>J, ice sword or D>A.

Sword throwing
If you are not sure that your sword will hit your enemy when you throw it lets just don’t throw it because if somebody else grabs it he will be able to freeze you then attack you with one of his strongest attacks
